1000 hooded figures woven from a single curtain of vibrating strings. The animation you are watching is the artwork — generated by the contract on Robinhood Chain, tradable on OpenSea, forever.
Each token stores a 32-bit seed. When a wallet or marketplace asks for the art, the contract writes the animation from scratch — HTML, code and metadata included. No IPFS. No server. Nothing to go offline.
Your seed is fixed in the mint transaction itself. The moment it confirms, your Hoodie exists — traits, effect, everything. No reveal date, no placeholder.
Mint price is zero — you pay only Robinhood Chain gas, a fraction of a cent in ETH. One per wallet, 1000 total. No allowlist, no phases.
The same seed always draws the same piece. The renderer and the metadata run the same random sequence — verified byte-for-byte across 200,000 test seeds.
In string theory, everything is made of the same fundamental strings — what a thing is depends only on how its strings vibrate. Void Hoodies takes that literally. The background, the figure and the void inside the hood are one continuous curtain of strings. Where they vibrate gently, you see the field. Where they vibrate harder and brighter, a hoodie appears. Where they fall quiet, the hood is empty.
Each string is drawn as a genuine standing wave — the same equation as a vibrating guitar string. The palettes are named after particles: Graviton, Photon, Tachyon.
Nothing is drawn on top of anything. The figure is a region of the field in a higher state of excitation — and the hood is a region where the strings return to rest.
These are not video files. Each piece runs live from its seed, at any resolution, on any screen, for as long as the chain exists.
Every seed rolls one effect. The odds are fixed in the contract.
| Effect | What it does | Odds | ≈ of 1000 |
|---|---|---|---|
| None | the clean field | 84.0% | 840 |
| Glow | the figure emits light | 8.0% | 80 |
| Pulse | the whole field breathes | 4.5% | 45 |
| Flicker | strings arc white at random | 2.5% | 25 |
| Chromatic | the figure splits into red and blue | 0.8% | 8 |
| Singularity | all white, burning, twice the speed | 0.2% | ~2 |
Void Hoodies is the first thing this engine has woven — not the last. The strings, the field and the physics are a system we own and intend to keep playing. No dates, no promises. Direction only.
A standing wave is a musical note. Every Hoodie already knows its own harmonics — one day the collection may be listenable, each seed its own chord.
Seeds are immutable; renderers are versioned. Holders may one day choose which performance of their seed to display — the original, forever, or whatever the engine learns next. The score never changes. The performance can.
The field can hold more than figures. What the strings weave next will come to those already holding a Hoodie first.
